Day 2 Beijing
Beijing, capital and cultural heart of modern China, a city that embodies the
very essence of Imperial China the palaces of the Ming and Qing courts. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to Chang An Grand Hotel.

Day 3 Beijing B/L/D
Full day tour of Beijing's most historic and impressive sights. Visits include Tiananmen Square, built in 1651 and is the world's largest public square; the magnificent Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties; and the peaceful Summer Palace with lushly forested walkways and delicately painted pavilions. An evening of Chinese cuisine finishes the day.

Day 4 Beijing B/L/D
This morning, just a short distance
outside the capital, you will visit the
extraordinary 6500 km-long Great Wall
of China (Badaling). Your walk along the top of the wall will be a highlight of your journey. A short drive away is the
statue-lined road leading to the thirteen
Ming Tombs - impressive burial places,
actually huge underground palaces, with numerous halls built to contain the emperor's lavish treasures.

Day 5 Beijing B/L/D
Explore Beijing's old residential area
“Hutong” by unique rickshaw, a new kind of itinerary enables visits to plug into the narrow street to get a glimpse at the daily life of Beijingers; the exquisite Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture. An evening of Peking Duck Dinner and cultural show.

Day 6 Beijing - Xian B/L/D
Morning flight to Xian, one of the most
important cradles of ancient Chinese
civilization. Overnight at Xian Garden Hotel. Afternoon tour of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Provincial History
Museum.

Day 7 Xian B/L/D
Exploring the archaeological treasure of the huge tomb of the First Emperor Qin, and the world-famous Terra Cotta Warriors and their Horses who served as the Imperial Guard to Emperor Qin, builder of the Great Wall. Special dumpling dinner and enjoy the cultural performances at the Tang Dynasty Theatre.

Day 8  Xian - Chongqing B/L/D
Board the domestic flight to Chongqing, a river city on the banks of the Yangtze. Emark the MV Paradise before 8:00 pm and begin your Yangtze River sailing at midnight.
Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise B/L/D
Shore excursion to the pearl of the Yangtze - Shibaozhai, a red wooden pavilion 11 storeys high was built against a protruding 220-meter rectangular rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise B/L/D
Shore excursion to Shennong Stream where you can see spectacular sights of ancient plank roads, ancient cave coffins and also to experience the culture of Tujia nationality. Today, the ship will pass through the shoals and rapids of Xiling Gorge, longest of the Three Gorges. Continue to pass through the Ship Locks of the Three Gorges Dam.

Day 11 Yangtze River Cruise - Shanghai B/L
Morning shore excursion to visit the Three Gorges Project which is the largest hydroelectric project in the world at present. Disembarking at Yichang around 1:30 pm. Transfer to board the afternoon flight to Shanghai. Overnight at Shanghai Ocean Hotel.

Day 12 Shanghai B/L/D
Full day sightseeing of Shanghai. “The Bund” - famous waterfront lined with historical European buildings and the old Chinese quarter. Visit the graceful Yu Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Shanghai Museum. Dinner at a local restaurant and special night at the Shanghai Acrobatic show.

Day 13 Shanghai - Zhujiajiao B/L/D Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, a river town near Shanghai which has a history with the canals and waterways that surround it. Afternoon tour of the Shanghai Museum.

Day 14 Shanghai Departure B
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
